Mayan Warriors Invade Sandos Cancun

Mayan Warriors history and tradition. Sandos Cancun Luxury Experience Resort is exploring Cancun’s roots with a weekly Mexican dinner on our beachfront Martiniere Terrace (weather permitting). At the “Essences of Mexico” dinner, our guests can feast on favorite dishes from all over Mexico like sopes, mole, esquites, cochinita pibil and more, all served buffet-style with the sunset and starry sky as a backdrop.

Things really begin to heat up later in the evening with the “Pre-Hispanic Show”, when Mayan warriors and dancers appear to perform on our stage and in the audience. Elaborate costumes, Mayan instruments and reenacted ceremonies create a thrilling show by the edge of the Caribbean Sea.

After the show, the Mayan warriors and other performers are more than happy to stick around, say hi to guests and take some pictures! Now that’s a cool profile picture for your Facebook page…
