What to Do in the Autumn in Benidorm

A Destination Filled with Experiences

A Season for Culture and Cuisine

If you’re in love with the local culinary scene, you’re in luck, because the famed V Jornadas foodie event will take place October 15 – 23, 2016, featuring the different rices of Benidorm – a unique opportunity to try the most traditional recipes of the Valencian Community. You can also take advantage of your time here to try a wide variety of tapas, Mediterranean cuisine, wines and all kinds of specialty dishes.

November is another wonderful month for festivals. The Fiestas Mayores Patronales take place between the second Saturday in November and the following Wednesday, with religious ceremonies, parades and fireworks. Right as the Fiestas are ending, the city celebrates the British Carnival, as they’ve done for over 20 years, in the English District of the city, featuring fancy dress celebrations, music and street parties.

You can also enjoy a cultural getaway by exploring the city’s museums and historic attractions, such as L’Hort de Colón, a 19th century building that has been transformed into a library and museum.
