They Came… They Saw… They Sang…

Last week, for the Sandos Sales Summit, the hardworking Sandos Hotels & Resorts sales team traveled from Cancun, the Riviera Maya, Spain, South America and the US to experience the sights of Los Cabos. With a variety of colorful team-building exercises and conferences that were far from the norm, our fun-loving sales group had a blast at this year’s Sandos Sales Summit, hosted at Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos resort.

Sandos Finisterra offers a dream setting for a group getaway, with breathtaking vistas, beautiful accommodations, out-of-the-ordinary event venues and spectacular surroundings for all kinds of unforgettable activities.

The first day allowed the team members to learn from each other in a casual atmosphere, with several conferences given by our Sandos sales staff in the beachfront palapa at Sandos Finisterra. Covering expert details on selling to a variety of different world markets, the conferences included a welcome from Commercial Director Daniel Gerlach followed by sales presentations on markets in South America, Central America and Europe.

There’s no better way to take a break from a day of presentations than a great meal! At midday, the sales team stopped by Agave restaurant for some mouthwatering Mexican cuisine by the resort’s beautiful pools.

Evenings in Cabo San Lucas offer the perfect scenery for a sunset boat ride to Land’s End Arch. The Sandos sales team walked down to the Cabo San Lucas marina, located just outside the hotel, and hopped onto a Cabo Blue catamaran. The group spent the evening chatting and taking pictures in a jaw-dropping setting on the waters of San Lucas Bay, an unbelievable spot for a team outing and the perfect way to unwind after a day of conferences.

The second day of the Sandos Sales Summit offered memorable and adventurous team-building exercises at Rancho Carisuva and More, both located about 25 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. The sales team got to tour the beaches of Los Cabos on ATVS…

…and test their climbing skills with a challenging and exciting high ropes course!

The final day of the Sandos Sales Summit 2013 featured even more interactive presentations by expert Sandos team members. The group learned all about the US, Mexican, Spanish and Canadian sales markets, as well as the unbelievable wedding and group options that Sandos has to offer.

After the sun went down, the Sandos sales team donned their chef hats for a group cooking lesson at the resort’s Plaza Finisterra, known for its panoramic views of Cabo San Lucas. Chef Ángel Ibarra taught the different groups to make cocktails, esquite, pasta, grilled meats and salads.

At the end of the day, Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos resort said goodbye to its guests with a traditional mariachi sendoff, followed by a night of singing and socializing in the beautiful desert-inspired pool area.

And through the magic of Photoshop, they were even able to represent Sandos Resorts by making our logo, the famous Sandos Sun:

It was hard to leave Los Cabos after such an exciting week of exploration and interaction in the incredible atmosphere of Sandos Finisterra, but we’ll just have to repeat all the fun next year!
