●      Hippie markets of Ibiza: Las Dalias

Las Dalias is one of the most famous markets and is one of the few that has maintained its original essence throughout the years, teleporting visitors back to what it could have been like in its original era. The market is open throughout the year, while different markets of various styles are also held at this location.

You will find different stalls selling clothes, crafts, music, food, and much more. Delve into it and discover everything it has to offer you. Remember that this market is one of the most popular on the island; therefore, deciding when to visit should highly depend on whether or not you want to avoid crowds.

We encourage all travelers to visit this market in the evening during the summer months. It’s transformed with light and music, a unique experience that you will not want to miss.

Situated between Santa Eulalia and San Carlos.

🚌Transportation:

You can access the market by bus or in your vehicle as there is paid parking in the area. However, keep in mind that in the busier months, it can be difficult to find a spot for your car.

🕑Hours of Operation:

Every month. Depending on the time of year, it may only open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays. But in the high season, it is always open on Saturdays.

The hours also vary. While it always opens at 10:00 in the morning, depending on the time of the year, it may close between 6:00 pm, and 1:00 am.

It is important that you check the opening hours and days before your visit as they may vary.

●      Hippie markets of Ibiza: Sant Jordi

This is another of the best-known markets on the island due to its proximity to the most urban centers. Open all year round, you can find local Ibizans doing their daily shopping there as it is a market that has everything. Similar to the rest of the markets, you can find a variety of stalls with food, crafts, clothing, etc. However, keep in mind that it is not known for being one of the most authentic Hippie-style markets.

🚌Transportation:

You can arrive by bus or with your own transport. As in all markets, you will have the possibility of parking in a paid parking lot. Remember, it can be very difficult to park at peak times in the busy months.

🕑Hours of Operation:

Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.

●      Hippie markets of Ibiza: Es Canar

This special market is one of the largest on the island and is open between April and October. You can visit every Wednesday between 10 am and 6:30 pm. This market is also known as the Punta Arabí market.

Be careful; it’s so big that you may find yourself a bit lost after hours of visiting the different stalls provided for visitors.

Historically it is one of the most important hippie markets on the island, as it was one of the first to be created in the 70s. Several hippie communities lived there and sold all kinds of products. Although these communities are no longer situated there today, it is one of the most authentic markets.

Buses can take you to the area, and paid parking is available if you go by car.

Every Wednesday from April to October between 10:00 am and 6:30 pm.

Located in the center of Playa d’en Bossa, you can visit its various booths. In the summer months, every day from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am.

●      Hippie market: Sant Joan

This particular place is different from many of the others on the island. It is a craft market organized in the center of the town of Sant Joan de Labritja, allowing all visitors special enjoyment of the charm of the area. The rest of the markets on the island are usually held in open fields or forests; therefore, this one will allow you to have another type of experience. In it, you will find artisan stalls and be able to find more authentic items compared to other markets.
