Every year, famous travel publication Condé Nast Traveler polls its readers to find out the world’s best hotels and Mexico´s best resort, airlines and cruises for the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, an extensive list showcasing the most highly scored accommodations in a variety of international travel destinations. The selection process was carried out via a survey placed on CondeNastTraveler.com. Meanwhile, the magazine’s social media channels also encouraged followers to share comments and pictures of their favorite places to stay using the hashtag #besthotelever.

In the 2013 edition of the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards, Sandos Playacar Beach Experience Resort earned a coveted spot on the list of Top Resorts in Cancun and Yucatan.
