Chef Ángel Ibarra
Born in Mexico City, Chef Angel holds a degree in gastronomy from the University of Iberoamericana, certified as “Chef de Cuisine” by the WACS (World Association of Chefs Societies)and the Academy of French Cuisine. His carrier in hospitality began at in early age, working with the hotel groups of Holiday Inn Crowne PlazaMexico City, Hotel Nikko and Four Seasons in Huatulco, Oaxaca. After gaining a solid foundation of work experience, Chef Angel moved to Europe,living in the countries of Switzerland, Germany and Italy, where he received his strongest professional development.
Upon his return to Cancun just over 12 years ago, Chef Angel has been with the hotel groups of Camino Real, JW Marriott, Royal Resorts, Oasis Hotels Group, Am Resorts and Excellence Group.Currently, Chef Angel is the Executive Chef at Sandos Cancun Luxury Experience Resort, where he brings his years of experience and unique touch to cultivate a delectable and memorable dining experience.
